Following a Covid induced 12-month hiatus and two false starts, an impressive cohort of more than 60 Old Reds from the Class of 1991 managed to drag their ageing bodies to The Gallery on Friday 16 September 2022 to reflect upon former glories at the College and the subsequent 3.1 decades.

Thirty Perth and regional Old Reds and partners provided a warm welcome to the new Headmaster, David Roberts and his wife Sofie, at their first PAOCA dinner interstate.

Old Reds and their partners caught up for dinner on Wednesday 24 August at Claudette, a restaurant in New York City. An annual event which sadly hasn't been able to happen for some years, these dinners are a wonderful opportunity for those Reds living far away from Australia to reconnect and remember the feeling of home.

2022 has been a very busy year. After two years of COVID interruptions the Association committed to a calendar of 42 events which included three reunions carried over from 2021. I can proudly say, through the diligence and hard work by our Executive Officer and her network of convenors, the program of events was achieved.

Eleven old scholars attended the 38th annual Brisbane Dinner held at Leonards Bar & Bistro in the CBD on Friday 18 November 2022. We were pleased to welcome our Association President Alan Letcher (1966) to the Sunshine State from Adelaide who provided updates on the Association’s activities and some always welcome news from the school. Our oldest old scholar present was Doug Paterson (1962) visiting from South Australia who attended with his son, Andrew Paterson (1992). Our youngest old scholar was Jordan Wu (2018) who made the trip up from the Gold Coast.
