Strategic Plan

President's Message

The Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association (PAOCA), with more than 15,000 members, is one of the largest and most active old scholars’ networks in the southern hemisphere.

Since its formation in 1878, the PAOCA and its members have remained engaged and committed to supporting the ongoing development of Prince Alfred College (PAC).

Membership of our Association is for life, and a key challenge is to ensure we continue to offer to all our members, regardless of their stage in life, an opportunity to remain connected with the College and fellow ‘Old Reds’.

The PAOCA presently hosts over 40 events annually for its members, including sporting events and dinners and other social events in a number of South Australian rural regions and in every capital city in Australia as well as functions in the UK, USA, and Asia.

The PAOCA is professionally administered to provide a wide range of services to all of our members and currently oversees eight sporting clubs.

We acknowledge that the strength of our Association is only possible as a result of the strong support provided by its members and the College and, going forward, the PAOCA Management Committee has reviewed its current operations to implement its third Strategic Plan setting out short-term objectives.

The Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association’s priority and commitment is to ensure that it continues to offer member services of the highest calibre, support to its sporting clubs, the Old Reds community, and the broader Prince Alfred College community.
