Welcome

Supporting a global network of Old Reds

Welcome to the Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association

The Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association (PAOCA) is one of the largest and most active Old Scholars networks in the southern hemisphere. Since its establishment in 1878, the PAOCA and its members have remained engaged with and committed to supporting the operations, continuous growth and development of Prince Alfred College.

Upon graduation, each Princes Man becomes a life member of PAOCA, and part of a global community of Old Reds. Their membership allows them to stay connected through attendance at reunions and events, join our Old Reds’ sporting teams, access facilities at the RED Centre, and keep up to date with news and events.

Currently the PAOCA operates seven successful sporting clubs and has over 10,000 active members, which continues to grow. Membership of our Association is for life upon graduation, and one of the key challenges is to ensure we offer all our members, regardless of their stage in life, an opportunity to remain connected with the College and fellow ‘Old Reds’.

The PAOCA presently hosts over 40 events annually for its members and holds events in every capital city in Australia (excluding Hobart) as well as events in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Singapore. The PAOCA also has a full-time administration function which services the needs and requests of all of its members.

We acknowledge that the strength of our Association is only possible as a result of the strong support by its members and the College. The PAOCA’s highest priority and commitment is to ensure that it continues to offer its members services of the highest calibre, and support to its sporting clubs and the College community.
