About the Club
At an informal discussion after the 1959 AGM of PAOC Football Club, it was decided to try and find enough Old Scholars interested in squash to form a Squash Club. A meeting was called for March 16 1960 and the Squash Club was formed. The Club commenced playing at Prince Alfred College in 1981. The Squash Club has produced exceptional players on a State, National and International level with none greater than Dan Jenson, former world number 5 and Commonwealth Games medallist. The Club has been quite successful in recent years, claiming the Division 2 Trophy in 2019 and winning the Old Scholars Intercollegiate Trophy nine out of the last ten years. The Club currently fields 6 teams ranging from State 2 to Division 2 and always welcomes new players.
