PAOC Cricket Club

About the Club

The PAOC Cricket Club was formed in 1932 as a founding member of the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association. Since that time, the Club has grown considerably, as has the Association. The Club provides an opportunity for cricketers of all ability to play the game they love. PAOCCC has been an imposing force within the Association over the past 15 seasons. Winning nearly 20 premierships and titles during this period including four A1 flags as well as taking out the Statewide T20 competition. Our A-grade are currently the longest serving team in the top grade of the competition.


Teams

PAOCCC has six teams that play on Saturdays, four in the two-day competition and two that play one-day games. In addition, the Club has a further four T20 sides which generally play on Tuesday evenings. The Club is very active off the field with a number of events held throughout the season. There are informal catch-ups at The Seven Stars after every training and match days, as well as presentations at the end of each round. The formal event program changes season to season, however recent years have included Lawn Bowls, Pop-eye Cruises, Quiz Nights and Test Match Brunches. In addition, the Club also hosts a Schnitzel Night before Round One each season to welcome the new players, and the End of Season Dinner where season awards are handed out.
