PAOC Hockey Club

About the Club

Prince Alfred Collegians’ Hockey Club was founded in 1978. The Club has previously fielded up to three senior teams and three junior teams in the local HockeySA competition. In 2000, the Club achieved promotion to the top level of hockey in South Australia. Fielding a team in the Division 1 competition (now known at the Premier League). PACHC is the only old scholars club to achieve this. More recently, the Club has been fielding one senior team only in the HockeySA competition.

Teams

PACHC currently fields one team in the Metro 2’s division. Training is held once a week, on Wednesday nights during the season on the PAC hockey pitch. The Club is also very active off the field, hosting an annual Club social event at the beginning of the season in addition to an end-of-season presentation dinner, and other social events as decided upon throughout the year.
