Five fellow Reds and I stood shoulder to shoulder. This was the ‘clash of the Titans’ through the median of badminton. Three games, three opportunities. At the end of the doubles, we had secured one win, with the two other games being close. Even though we were down, we were not out. As the results began to come in from the singles, we knew we had met our match. Some games were close. We tried hard. However, we were not able to withhold the crash of the Blue wave. Although defeated, hope springs eternal. There are shoots of hope sprouting amongst the individual games. The Red blooms may flower next season!
