The first Hong Kong Dinner post-Covid was held on Saturday 4 March 2023. Fourteen dedicated old scholars climbed up the hills of Lan Kwai Fong. They were joined by Headmaster David Roberts, PAOCA President Andrew Sullivan, International Students Coordinator Mani White, and Director of Admissions Rachel Marchetto at the finest German establishment in town, the Heimat.
When the restaurant's top review says "serves great cocktails" and the chef proudly "redefined German cuisine", we were well prepared to hear the transformation plans and fantastic developments at the school, shared by David Roberts.
What has not changed is the College spirit. With attendance from the most senior Freddie Chung (1964), and the youngest Felix Fong (2017), Team Red in Hong Kong is staying strong and the colour is vibrant.
It was a fantastic dinner and many attendees met for the first time. We look forward to a great time next year again.
