Commencing in the Main Building at the College, a large group gathered to walk the school grounds on a school tour. Building in numbers slowly, the foyer was filled with boisterous chatter, signifying nothing had changed in the past ten years.
The highlight of the tour being the Boarding House, with the old boarders quick to point out “how good the current boys have it”.
Special thanks to David Cornish and Phil Noble for guiding the cohort through the grounds.
The group then migrated to the Havelock Hotel where the numbers increased further, and multiple beverages ensued.
It was great to see the number of Princes men succeeding in their chosen professions and to hear of their accomplishments, achievements and life stories. It was very pleasing to see a significant number of Old Reds who made the effort to travel for the night, from country SA and even red-eye flights from interstate. A true testament to the affiliation the cohort has to the College.
The Class of 2012 celebrated long into Saturday morning, making the most of the occasion.
Finally, a special thank you to Mary-Ann Standish for organising the event. All boys in attendance greatly appreciate her continued hard work to keep the PAOCA thriving.
