The 30-year reunion for the Class of 1993 was held on Friday 22 September. We had over 70 lads come in, some travelled from various locations including Victoria, Melbourne, the ACT and regional SA. We had the opportunity to tour the school facilities and witness the significant changes and upgrades that have taken place over the years. It was a remarkable experience to interact with the current group of students and learn about their projects, which showcased the school's commitment to preparing students for exciting career paths. Additionally, we were impressed by the new state-of-the-art boarding accommodation, which demonstrated the school's dedication to providing excellent care for boarding students.
Following the tour, we gathered at The Gallery for lunch, where we had the pleasure of reconnecting with each other as well as our former teachers and masters (we understand Jurgen Kracht was not able to make it but is in good health). We exchanged stories about our post-school experiences and celebrated our individual successes.
We extend our gratitude to Andrew Sullivan, the President of the Old Scholars Association, for joining us and sharing the PAOCA's remarkable initiatives. We also thank the new Headmaster, David Roberts, for presenting his vision for the school and Leigh Wissell for delivering an entertaining Toast to the School. The reunion was a memorable day filled with laughter, reminiscing and meaningful conversations about family and life after school that went late into the night.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Mary-Ann Standish for her unwavering dedication to the PAOCA, as without her, this reunion would not have been possible.
