The 2023 Old Reds’ Annual Dinner was attended by 240 Old Reds who were fortunate to hear from cricket legend Darren Lehmann, on the couch with Old Red, Max Burford (2009).
Artist Greer Tapscott was commissioned to undertake a painting of Darren throughout the course of the dinner, which was auctioned later in the evening. The painting was purchased by the extremely generous Treloar family, the proceeds of which were given to the Men’s Shed Association.
