Welcome

Supporting a global network of Old Reds

Welcome to the Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association

The Prince Alfred Old Collegians’ Association (PAOCA) is one of the largest and most active Old Scholars’ networks in the southern hemisphere. Since its founding in 1878, the Association and its members have remained strongly engaged with, and committed to, supporting the ongoing growth, development and success of Prince Alfred College.

Every Princes Man becomes a Life Member of the PAOCA upon graduation, joining a global community of Old Reds. Membership offers ongoing opportunities to stay connected—whether through reunions and events, involvement in Old Reds’ sporting clubs, access to facilities at the RED Centre, or regular updates on news and activities across the College and broader community.

Today, the PAOCA oversees nine thriving sporting clubs and represents more than 10,000 active members, with numbers continuing to grow. As membership is lifelong, one of our core priorities is ensuring that we provide meaningful ways for all Old Reds - regardless of age, location or life stage - to remain connected with the College and each other.

The PAOCA currently delivers more than 40 events each year, hosting gatherings across every Australian capital city as well as in the UK, USA and Hong Kong. A full‑time administration function supports the needs of all members and coordinates the Association’s programs, events and day‑to‑day operations.

We recognise that the strength of our Association is built on the ongoing support of its members and the College. Our highest priority is to continue delivering services of the highest quality, while providing strong support to our sporting clubs and the wider College community.
